From Kisii County hails a man with passion,

In the political arena he has occupied a position,

Both in the government and in opposition,

His Excellency Mr. Ongwae, my governor my pride

Kisii town shines bright with light,

The security we need is available and tight,

He’s a great man whose decisions are ever right,

His Excellency Mr. Ongwae, my governor my pride

Employment he has offered not only for his tribe,

For qualified personnel and not on matters bribe,

A chat with him always create a good vibe,

His Excellency Mr. Ongwae, my governor my pride

My conscience tells me that he is a man God given,

He is one of his kinds maybe sent from heaven,

He is more than legible and that he has proven,
