End…

Sijafa

Muda mwingi sijanena, sio eti mie bubu,
Imebidi nije tena, kwa maswala ya kutubu,
Ulichopanda utavuna, hata kama mashurubu,
Kweli mie chipukizi, niko hai sijakufa.

Nilikimya makusudi, niliona ni muhimu,
Nilikuwa sina budi, kuyatenda majukumu,
Hata hivyo nimerudi, mjulishe Allan Namu,
Kweli mie chipukizi, niko hai sijakufa.

Nimepata nyingi arafa, toka kwenu mashabiki,
Mmekosa zangu hurafa, kwa muda usiohakiki,
Nawalika kwangu ghorofa, tujadili yalohaki,
Kweli mie chipukizi, nikohai sijakufa.

Nikoshwari ninatesa, sio tu burudani,
Niko mzima kama NASA, chama kile cha upinzani,
Tawapasha vyote visa, vinapochipuka nchini,
Kweli mie chipukizi, nikohai sijakufa.

Mashabiki bwatukaji, wapendao zangu kanda,
Karibuni tunywe uji, na maziwa yaloganda,
Hapo kwake bwana Koji, afugaye wengi punda,
Kweli mie chipukizi, nikohai sijakufa.

Nimefika mwaka mpya, majaliwa yake Mola,
Ingawaje sikulipa, acha Mungu awe Mola,
Neema yake ni ya bure, hata uwe kwenye jela,
Kweli mie chipukizi, nikohai sijakufa.

Joy as comrade’s lawyer picks nomination form

The streets of Kisii University yesterday exhibited an unusual mood as comrades joyously received news of Gabriel Okoyo picking presidential nomination papers.

Okoyo who has been at the forefront championing for the rights of the students is the recent bighorn joining the 2017 KUSU presidential race after Jeff Muller and Moffat.

The former who is also the ex-(Law society of Kisii University) LSKSU secretary general has been ranked as the favourite to clinch the seat if all goes well but has however dismissed the claims saying it is early to spread such claims.

“Let’s wait for the vetting, if all goes well then we can now discus those claims, I believe the winner will be the aspirant who touches the comrades’ hearts,” the flamboyant counsel reiterated.

This year’s KUSU presidential race attracted more than seven aspirants.

Ex President, Org sec pannic as lawyer heads election body

Kisii University administration block, the varsity's ex top student leaders are struggling to clear their names on malpractices
Former Kisii University Students Union (KUSU) president and organizing secretary have been dealt with a blow after Dr. Wilfred Konosi was appointed to chair the electoral body.

The two who have had a poor track record, only leaving a 'corruption legacy' in the KUSU union are now in panic as they embark on how to clear their names from the self propelled mishap.

It is documented that a member of the union was impeached just days into office after the famous Student Center scam, but the two escaped the justice knife with a whisker.

From "Maji ya kuosha kisu" to the Ksh. 44,000 CBD canteen tender bribe, the two who were by then at the helm of the union seemed to be comfortable going about their ingrained corrupt tendency.

In as much as many may think the KUSU election has got nothing to do with the futures of the two, the incoming president will have to be in the disciplinary committee and may come to their aid if their work towards his good.

In a meeting secretly convened today, the two are spearheading a petition to reinstate Dr. Ngacho as the chair of the election body.

Do you think the two have an intention of manipulating the elections outcome?
