Joy as comrade’s lawyer picks nomination form

The streets of Kisii University yesterday exhibited an unusual mood as comrades joyously received news of Gabriel Okoyo picking presidential nomination papers.

Okoyo who has been at the forefront championing for the rights of the students is the recent bighorn joining the 2017 KUSU presidential race after Jeff Muller and Moffat.

The former who is also the ex-(Law society of Kisii University) LSKSU secretary general has been ranked as the favourite to clinch the seat if all goes well but has however dismissed the claims saying it is early to spread such claims.

“Let’s wait for the vetting, if all goes well then we can now discus those claims, I believe the winner will be the aspirant who touches the comrades’ hearts,” the flamboyant counsel reiterated.

This year’s KUSU presidential race attracted more than seven aspirants.
