South African club Baroka FC has released former Gor Mahia
midfield maestro Khalid Aucho.
The Ugandan international signed for the South African club from
K’ogallo in August last year but failed to impress in the PSL.
He joins his three counterparts Geofrey Massa, Victor Letsoalo and youtube
sensational Tshepo "Skhwama Sama Tariyana" Matete
who have also been shown the door as the club restructures in the January
transfer window.
Aucho is currently with
the Ugandan national team in preparations for the 2017 AFCON finals set to be
held in Gabon.
He will however be unavailable for their opening group D match
against Ghana at Port Gentil stadium due to suspension following bookings in
the qualifiers.
